How to Make a Pear Martini with Pear Puree and Pear Vodka
My Pear Martini, made with pear puree, is combination of light, fruity, sweet, smooth and refreshing! Fresh lemon juice adds just enough brightness to wake up all the flavors.
=== 🍽🍸🥩 RECIPE ===
2 ounces (60 ml) pear flavored vodka
1 ounce (30 ml) pear puree*
1 ounce (30 ml) simple syrup**
1/2 ounce (15 ml) lemon juice
*To make the pear puree:
1 – 15 ounce (425 g) can of pears in juice (not syrup)
Place pears and juice in a blender and puree, or use an immersion blender. Store puree in refigerator.
** Simple Syrup is equal parts sugar and water. Place 1 cup of water (240 ml) and 1 cup of sugar (200 g) in a saucepan and heat on low, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves. Take off heat and cool to room temperature. Store in a very clean jar with a tight cap in the refrigerator for up to a month.
Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice and shake well. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a slice of pear
