How to Make the Sidecar Cocktail and Cider Sidecar
The Sidecar cocktail is usually made from Cognac, Cointreau and lemon juice. This classic can also be adapted to the seasons and today we’ll make both the classic sidecar and an apple cider sidecar.
=== 🍽🍸🥩 RECIPE ===
Classic Sidecar:
1.5 ounces (45 ml) cognac
1 ounce (30 ml) Cointreau
1/2 ounce (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
Apple Cider Sidecar:
2 ounces (60 ml) apple cider
2 ounces (60 ml) cognac
1 ounce (30 ml) Cointreau
1/2 ounce (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well, and strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with a twist of lemon.
Note: you may also rim the glass with super fine sugar
