Savor the Season: Pumpkin and Cranberry Scones Step-by-Step

=== 🍽🍸🥩 RECIPE ===
8 ounces (113g) butter, softened
1/2 cup (104g) brown sugar, firmly packed
8 ounces (230g) canned pumpkin
2 ounces (60ml) half and half
1 egg yolk
2 1/2 cups (300g) all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 cup (70g) dried cranberries

Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C)

Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and spices in a bowl. Mix to combine and set aside.

In another larger bowl, combine butter and brown sugar and beat with a mixer until creamy. Add the pumpkin, half and half, and egg yolk. Continue to beat until smooth and creamy.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and stir to combine. Once combined, stir in the dried cranberries.

Drop a rounded spoonful (1/4 cup) of dough evenly onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and scones are set. Remove to a wire cooling rack. Cool completely before serving.

Serve with softened butter, apple butter, or other jam.
