Tender And Flavorful Lamb Meatballs With Mediterranean Spices

Embark on a journey of flavors with my tender and succulent lamb meatballs. Wrapped in a medley of exotic spices and familiar flavors, they are easy to make and are the perfect appetizer or the main course.

=== 🍽🍸🥩 RECIPE ===
1 pound (450g) ground lamb
1 egg
1/3 cup (45g) bread crumbs
20 Spanish olives, chopped
2 tablespoons almonds, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
1 medium onion, finely diced
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Pinch of cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
Salt & Pepper

In a large sauté pan, heat 1 tablespoon over medium heat. Add the onion and a little salt & pepper. Sauté until the onion begins to soften, 3-5 minutes. Add the garlic, and sauté for another 1-2 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool.

Combine the lamb, egg, breadcrumbs, olives, almonds, mint, and spices in a large bowl. Add the sauteed onion and garlic. Season with salt & pepper and mix.

Form into small meatballs.

In the same pan used to sauté the onions, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Over medium-low heat, fry the meatballs until browned, about 7 minutes, or until an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).

Serve w/Tzatziki sauce.
