Making Welsh Rarebit – The Ultimate Grilled Cheese on Toast

Prepare to tantalize your taste buds with a classic British dish that’s quick and easy to make! Welsh Rarebit is a blend of melted cheese, Worcestershire sauce, some beer, and a touch of mustard. It is the ultimate cheese on toast comfort food that’s perfect for any time of day.

=== 🍽🍸🥩 RECIPE ===
8 ounces (230g) sharp cheddar cheese, grated
4 eggs, separated
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons beer
Tabasco (or any hot sauce you like)
4 slices crusty bread, toasted
Salt & Pepper

Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C)

In a large bowl, combine the cheese, egg yolks, mustard, Worcester sauce, beer, and a few drops of Tabasco sauce.

Season with salt & pepper.

Mix well and set aside.

In another bowl, beat the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.

Add a spoonful to the cheese mixture, and stir to combine. Then gently fold in the rest of the whites.

Spread evenly on the bread. Bake for 10 minutes. You can put it under the broiler for a minute or two if you want to brown the cheese even more.

Serve immediately.
