White Wine Summer Fruit Sangria | Let’s Celebrate TV

Did you over buy at your local farm stand and don’t know what to do with all the fruit you bought? How about making a bright, refreshing adult beverage – a white wine summer fruit sangria. Not only is it one of the easiest recipes to make, but it’s a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Plus you can use whatever fruits you like and change the flavor with the seasons. Sauvignon Blanc, a dry white wine is the best to use with the sweet fruit, and the addition of a splash of Cointreau will make a bright, refreshing beverage, perfect as a starter or a dessert!

🍽🍸🥩 Recipe

1.75 liter Sauvignon Blanc (or you can use Pinot Grigio)
1 1/2 oz. Cointreau (Triple sec or Grand Mariner can be used)
1 large orange, sliced
1 apple, large dice
2 peaches, large diced
1 pint strawberries, quartered
1 pint blue berries
1 pint seedless grapes, frozen
Seltzer or Club Soda

In a large pitcher, combine oranges, peaches, apples, strawberries and blue berries.
Add the Cointreau, then add the wine. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.
Before serving, give the mixture a stir to combine the fruit flavors and wine.
In a large tumbler or goblet add some frozen grapes (or ice). Top with some of the fruit from the pitcher.
Add some of the wine from the pitcher.

To make it a Spritzer, top with seltzer or club soda.
