Homemade Fudgy Chocolate Brownies – Rich, Moist and Easy to Make
Homemade Brownies are my go to whether I need a quick dessert or a chocolate fix. My recipe uses just a few ingredients to make a rich, moist, fudgy brownie that will serve all your chocolate needs. Just 9 ingredients make a rich, moist, and chocolatey brownie that you made yourself.
=== 🍽🍸🥩 RECIPE ===
— Ingredients:
3 ounces (84 g) unsweetened chocolate (6 squares)
6 tablespoons (90 g) unsalted butter
2 cups (430 g) sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 large eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups (190 g) all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (100 g) chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
— Hardware
9 x 9 (23 x 23 cm) square baking pan
Small saucepan with a medium, heat proof bowl that sets on top to make a double boiler
— Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) degrees. Grease and flour the pan or use cooking spray with flour, set aside
Fill the saucepan 1/2 way with water. Put the bowl on top. On medium heat, bring water to a simmer.
Place chocolate and butter in the bowl. Stir to combine while it melts. Once melted and combined, add the sugar. Stir to combine. Mixture will look gritty at this point.
Off the heat, add the vanilla. While stirring vigorously, add the eggs. Stir to combine.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk to combine. Add dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture. Stir until combined. Stir in nuts.
Add batter to pan, bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Start checking at 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. De-pan, cut, and serve. Can be kept in an air-tight container for up to a week. (They won’t last that long.)
