Spiced Nuts Snack – Mixed Nuts with Garam Masala

We all need a snack now and then, and mixed nuts are a great choice. Sure, you can reach for that can from the store, or you can make your own. My Spiced Nuts Snack recipe uses the flavors of India to make a warm and flavorful snack that goes perfectly with beer, coffee, cocktails and everything in between.

1/2 cup unsalted cashews
1/2 cup unsalted walnuts
1/2 cup unsalted pecans
1/2 cup unsalted almonds
2 teaspoons garam masala spice
1 egg white, beaten until frothy
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Preheat oven to 325° F (165° C)

Mix the nuts in a large bowl. Pour the egg whites over the nuts and stir to coat. Add in the salt and Garam Masala. Stir to combine.

Place nuts on a baking sheet lined parchment. Roast for 25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to break up any clumps.

Can be made a few days ahead of time and stored in an airtight container. Can be served warm or at room temperature.
