Negroni Sbagliato – The Negroni Mistake | Let’s Celebrate TV

Cocktail folklore has it that this drink, the Negroni Sbagliato, is a mistake or messed up (aka sbagliato) take on the classic Negroni. The original Negroni is equal parts gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari – a bitter drink that is consumed very slowly. It is said that the bartender created the Negroni Sbagliato by accidentally using sparkling wine instead of gin. He then realized that this variation made sense and this mistake led to the creation of a new classic cocktail. We will add a few more extra ounces of Prosecco to make an light cocktail to enjoy for a crowd.
