Barbecue Sauce Made Simple – Make It Your Own Way!

Every family has their own Barbecue Sauce, from simple to complex, some sweet, some tangy, and some hot and spicy. But everyone needs a basic sauce to start from to develop their own. In the 1950s, Peter’s mother created a simple, inexpensive barbecue sauce that starts with tomato soup, not ketchup. The sauce is a great canvas for adding other ingredients to make your own.

=== 🍽🍸🥩 RECIPE ===
3 – 10 ounce (900g) cans of Condensed Tomato Soup (do not add water)
8 ounces (240ml) Molasses
4 ounces (120ml) Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Green Bell Peppers, roughly chopped
1 Medium Onion chopped
1 Tablespoon All Spice
Salt & Pepper

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours to develop flavors.
The sauce can be used immediately or stored in the refrigerator for up to one week. Use it like any other BBQ sauce on chicken, pork, beef, or fish.

Since this is a base sauce, you can make lots of other sauces by adding:
Brown sugar
Jalapeño peppers
Yellow Mustard
Chili Powder
Worcestershire Sauce
